Best faces ever! These are the models that were so kind to model for my Digital Me, Collection for my capstone fashion class at the college I attend. I keep spamming everywhere I post with pictures of this, but I really appreciate these girls and I love how they looked in the clothing I made.
Avengers Giveaway!
In honor of the ridiculous amount of followers I have, I will be giving away some Avengers-themed swag to one lucky winner!
SWAG:
- You Were Made to Be Ruled moleskin notebook. It’s 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches, and ironically unlined. The front says “You Were Made To Be Ruled” and the back has a mini-Loki wielding a pencil staff.
- Tony Stark sticker. It’s about 2 x 2 1/2 inches in size and water resistant.
- Thor laminated keychain. It’s 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches in size, with the chain about 3 inches long.
- Loki mini print. About 4 x 5 inches in size. Can be signed, if you want.
- Loki pin-back button. 1 1/4 inch.
- I Do What I Want, Thor! necklace. The resin pendant is 1 x 1 inch, with glitter and a two layer paper effect. The cord necklace is 23 inches long.

I did this and when the creepier was going through my pictures, they were of me as Cousin It and freak dancing with the Mayor as Oogie Boogie. The picture of me he had in his car was of my zombie derp cake. XD

Dressing the Larger Woman
Does anyone else find it really odd that there is a movement in making plus sized women’s clothing “trendy” but instead they are just turning the usual potato sacks we are usually offered into floral print plus sized potato sacks? There are few specialty stores that provide some cute clothing for plus sized women, but they tend to only run the cute clothing there from the sizes 14-20 and for women who don’t exceed the height of 5 foot nothing. As it stands, I myself am a woman of 5’10 and am a 26. Despite working really hard to getting to a smaller size, I am currently a large woman and I want to go out into the world and look good doing it. It would seem to me that designers aren’t helping the epidemic because if large women are only produced ugly potato sacks to go hide in a corner in, then that is what they will do. However, if they designed cute active wear/party casual wear, women would be more likely to go out into the world and through being active would lose weight. Now, I’m not trying to say that it is entirely the fashion industries fault, I mean, there are lots of reasons for obesity, but they don’t help at all.
Sorry for the rant, I am just sick of going through my clothes and realizing how shapeless most of them are and how ill fitting a lot of my jeans are. High Waters and men’s button shirts shouldn’t be my wardrobe, but they happen to make up a good majority of it.

Ugh, okay, I lied.
So I will be doing a significant amount more on this site than I had originally though. The posting lay out is much easier and faster for me to handle so I’ll start posting my work in progress steampunk costume/pattern pieces here with note for the steampunk group I am part of. The group is the Sacred City Steampunk Society and although we have a handful of members now, I’m hoping that with the more work we post and with the completion of our costumes, we’ll have quite a few more members picked up along the way.
Despite posting that kind of stuff, I will be lurking and stalking friends and groups as well… probably more than I will be posting things. XD
